The next selection from Erte's Alphabet Series is ready! You can pick them up by clicking right here. Not Safe For Work warning: naked boobies, suggestive poses.

Sorry if you received a notification for this twice? When I published this it didn't go to the top like a new submission, the backend seemed to think it had been published in 2023. Very weird.

I've finally got over the roadblock that was U and the faun's ridiculous fruit! I saved Z for last as a reward/prize for myself, because if I had worked on her before the others I would've never finished this collection.

S - 4 hours. I'm not a big fan of this guy. He's a sort of cherub or angel figure and I do like how the S clouds shape the letter, but it doesn't do anything for me. Perhaps someone particularly creative with this letter could give more pizazz to the clouds - perhaps a varigated pastel thread, or a cuter face for the main figure.

T - 3 hours. I think this one is beautiful as an illustration, but didn't translate very well into stitching. The leaves on the plant are too "sticky" for my preference and the lace loses a lot of its charm. Again, I wish she had a prettier face stitched. I do wish that I have a good excuse to stitch a T monogram though - her lace along the top is so, so pretty.

U - 3.5 hours (much untimed pain) This is the letter that held me up for so long. Every time I would open the file to work, I would become frustrated with all of the original art's fruit. I knew that I didn't want to go through the effort to backstitch and line every single grape, and I knew that just beads wouldn't give me the desired texture. I finally went with "generic sequins" for the instructions, since sequins can be bought in the tens of thousands in kits with lots of colors. There was no need here for me to try to create baggie supplies on my own. Once I finished putting this together, it was like a large artblock was lifted.

V - 3 hours. This is a mostly symmetrical pattern, but just off enough to cause a little frustration. A lot of my frustration from U was put onto V needlessly - once U was done, V was a joy to work with. Her/Their beaded flowers will probably be a bit crowded, but the texture will be amazing.

W - 3.5 hours. I really like 95% of W, but the 5% that I don't like is the main guy's face. He's just not very cute! I hope someone creates a cute version and then shares it with the group so we can all enjoy him. Of course I'm partial to this one because of the pink, and most of it is symmetrical so once I finished one horse it was such a relief to flip the pattern over and save myself all that time. I did my best to fancy the main character up - he has beads and sparkles abound. If only he was cuter.

X - 1 hour. I don't like X and am thankful he's symmetrical.

Y - 1 hour. I don't like Y and am thankful he's symmetrical. At least he has pants on.
